out of all of the incredible lyrics in moonsickness, i think the one that hits me the hardest is “i love you so much.” it’s so simple, but the whole song is cynicism and hopelessness, and penelope’s addition of “i love you so much” in the midst of all that is equal parts poignant and comforting.
