We look back on memories from the past, but more often than not, we look forward to the future. We live in the present, which is just that, a present. Cliches are abundant with presents, but we never learn from them. We focus on what we will do, but we are blind to what we are doing. We build up so much for the future as if it is guaranteed, but our only guarantee is now. This is all we know for certain, but we act as if we know the future too. We act like we know a lot of things, we promise things we aren't sure we can promise, but the only thing we are sure of is the only thing promised to us. We think we get the future, but we are promised this, Now.
