Some questions are difficult, others are impossible. This one is impossible. These are definitely not my all time top 5 songs, bc that would take at least a few weeks to determine. But here are a few that I like a lot and that are important to me, in no particular order.
Closer to Fine by the Indigo Girls
You're Aging Well by Dar Williams (but also like. her entire discography. choosing a Dar Williams song is impossible)
You Want It Darker by Leonard Cohen
Stories by Lilli Furfaro
The Queen and The Soldier by Suzanne Vega (but also once again her entire discography. Also can you tell I was raised on 90s singer-songwriters yet?)
A poll with five of your all-time favorite characters, and then tag five people to do the same. see which character is everyone's favorite. That is the plan and @lttrsfrmlnrrgby tagged me in it! 💜
5sos roman empire challenge !! this was quite literally impossible to narrow down. if you want, share your own 5sos moments you think about constantly and tag some friends !!
when you get this ask you have to you could perhaps maybe bless us with 5 of ur fav songs (currently or of all time), and then send this ask to 5 of your moots who you think have good taste!
hi Karfy!!! <33 again I am so honored someone thinks I have good taste thank you 🥲 and in spite of my love for the 1975 no less!! truly a miracle! (i am 1000% joking btw <33)
I answered some of my top 5 of all time here! (Which I now see in the time it has taken me to write this u have liked, thank u <3) So I’m using this as a wonderful opportunity to do top 10 bc we know top 5 was never going to be enough (top 10 isn’t either but so it goes)
keeping w the fav for a while criteria! but not as loosely (mainly just to include phoebe)

Daisies and Dewdrops - A MIDDLE AGE SUNFLOWER FIC WITH FLUFF N STUFF XX
MORNING. 20XX. SUNNY’S HOUSE.
Sunny sat out on the bench swing on his front porch. The sun had just barely risen, and cool morning light shone onto the garden they had. The dewdrops on the flowers were delicate and reflected the light like millions of tiny diamonds. The front door opened with its usual ‘CLICK-CREAK’ and Sunny waited. Basil sat next to him.
“Morning, sunshine.”
Sunny smiled. That had become his nickname, then? ‘Sunshine…’
“Morning.”
Basil studied him.
“Why are you up so early?”
“Couldn’t sleep.”
Basil nodded. He held a cup of steaming hot tea in his hands. Sunny looked at him.
“Doesn’t that hurt?”
Basil shook his head.
“Not really. You get used to it after a while. Also, it’s like, REALLY cold out this morning? Not sure if you realized that.”
Sunny had, in fact, noticed it.
“I’m aware.”
There was silence for a moment. The sound of a car pulling up on their street. A voice, suddenly, called to them.
“BASIL! SUNNY!”
Sunny turned his head. Kel was running towards them.
“Careful with the flowers, Kel…”
Basil murmured this, to no effect, and winced as Kel trampled a few daisies. Aubrey walked patiently behind him, cautiously avoiding any possible damage to the garden. Kel stopped in front of them.
“You guys!! You won’t… believe … what happened… with… my sister!!”
Sunny frowned.
“Did you really come all this way just to tell us something about your sister? And why bring Aubrey with you?”
Kel sighed. Aubrey elbowed him.
“What happened with his sister isn’t important. You guys wanna come to our wedding?”
Basil flinched.
“Your wedding.”
Aubrey nodded.
“You’re asking us that. At 7:00 AM on a monday morning.”
Aubrey nodded again, more hesitantly this time.
“Do you not want to?”
Sunny stood up.
“He means to say that would be wonderful.”
AT THE WEDDING.
And then Aubrey tossed her bouquet of flowers straight from Basil’s garden. Basil turned to Sunny, who was watching it avidly.
