“I don’t suppose you did anything at all to actually verify her ridiculous story, instead of just accepting it blindly and welcoming a total stranger into my home while I was away?”
“A second Rajji isn’t enough proof for you?”
“Just because this girl is in possession of a kwami that looks like our Rajji does not mean the rest of her story is true. What if the kwami from her universe are evil, and this one is tricking us?”
“It’s not the Mirror Universe!” Emma repeated, exasperated.
“You could have at least questioned her,” Gabriel continued, ignoring Emma, “or asked her to tell you something only my future granddaughter would know.”
“Why would your granddaughter know anything?” Adrien interrupted angrily. “Your son doesn’t.”
