Her blue shirt was soaked with the blood of her last kill. It was a mess, even with the white t-shirt she wore underneath. The situation seemed peaceful enough. She quickly unbuttoned and took of the shirt, leaving her arms to the mercy of the wind.
It wasn't too smart of her to leave her arms uncovered, with the shirt she at least had some kind of barrier between the infected and her skin. While she was there, she should also check her weapons. A clogged gun barrel could end badly. In a few short minutes, the gun was loaded and ready to go. As she walked deeper into the woods, she noticed someone in the distance. It looked like a silhouette of a child. She crouched and tryed not to make much noise as she approached the kid, but her luck had to run out eventualy. While hiding behind a bush she accidentally stepped on a few dry twigs causing a rather loud crunch.
