Ken gasps so loudly, his voice cracks. He’s too shocked and excited to think straight for a moment.
But he quickly snaps out of it and scoops her up in the biggest hug he’s ever given anyone in a while. “THANK YOU! Thankyouthankyouthankyouthankyou!”
He sets her down carefully with another very happy “Thank you! I really really like being your friend! And not just because you gave me a baby horse,” before slowly walking up to the goal. With Barbie Land magic, he pulls out of his pocket some cut up pieces of apple that’s manageable for the foal to chew.
As she eats the pieces from his hand, he pets her muzzle and says, “Hi, I’m Ken. I’m gonna call you Toffee!”
