Do you have a piece that you found extremely difficult to write? What was it about?
Nothing has been extremely difficult haha, @cherokeeghostwriter‘s prompt was challenging though; writing a poem without the words “the,” “be,” “to,” “of,” “and,” “a,” “in,” “that,” “have,” and “I.” And I remember writing Villanelle took some time.I do like to play with words. Making syllabic verses, or hiding messages in poems is what I consider ‘fun’ haha. But that’s the thing, I like that playfulness. I don’t consider my poems to be art, it’s just my emotions put to words. Poetry has proven to be a great outlet for me, and I hope it’ll always be. So it’s never difficult, more often poetry is a (natural) necessity for me.
