On the way down to check the trail camera at the bottom of the goat pasture this morning. Everything is covered with sleet and ice today. Lynesse Hightower: Zombie AU

    After her husband got infected, Lynesse had to leave their manor. But where, would she go? She tried to call her siblings. All of them, but there was no answer. She scrolled down her contact list, hopeless, she had more money than friends. And now, money couldn't buy anything, not even her safety.

  Lynesse was almost giving up, when she saw a name. For some seconds she debated with herself until the survival instinct made her put her pride aside. She called him, maybe he had changed his number, like she had done.                                              

But a male voice answered   “Hello?” There was no doubt. It was her ex-husband's voice.                                           

  She took a deep breath, part of her didn't want to reply, but there was no other way.               

  “Who is this?” the man asked again.      

  And like there was nothing wrong, like she had not locked what once was her husband inside the bathroom, like all London hadn't gone insane, she answered:                                

  “Jorah, It’s me”
