So It Begins...
Over the past few years I have tended to come up and play around with random combinations of words - be it lyrics, jokes or poems but I am in no way whatsoever musically talented so I started giving the lyrics I have come up with to my musician friends for them to use but eventually they all started to tell me to do something with them, especially my house mate Katy - she said I had a knack for this sort of thing so I asked her what I should do about all of these bits and pieces because they were just cluttering my head up and she told me to make a blog. I did some research and found that many of you just jot down your thoughts and it seems like quite a comforting thing for many people so here I am! Another thing that has encouraged me to do this is that I have always been a HUGE fan of Sarah Jessica Parker's character Carrie in Sex and the City and I would love to be as witty and clever as her one day - hey, everyone needs an idol right? I don't expect anything to come from this and to be honest I doubt anyone will ever see it so this is predominantly just for me to reflect on and add to from time to time but if you do happen to be here reading this then I hope you can take something away from it that may make your day a little brighter and feel free to add comments because everyone needs a little constructive criticism from time to time ;)
