So today my family is throwing this bbq to so that my mom & my brother’s new gf parent’s can meet. This is like the 6th time we’ve done something like this for him. Lol with different gfs. I usually don’t care but today i got sad cause i realized we have NEVER done anything like that for me cause i’ve had never had anyone to bring home. Which is fine, but today it hits hard & that is okay too.
I tried to confide this to my mom thinking she’d have some words of wisdom for me to help me shake the feeling. But nope, her exact response was “ you really need to, get a therapist cause you have some serious issues”.
Yup 🙃
