This is Caline, one of my students from last year, teaching seventy-some girls about leadership at our first meetings of GLOW (Girls Leading Our World) club. This has been a long time coming and a lot of work leading up, but I'm so proud of my kids. I've done almost nothing; all the planning and teaching is on them, and they've done a great job. Today I hated all of the teaching I did, and I was dreading having to stay another hour for club. It turned out to be the best hour of the day. It was a joy to see these girls step up and teach a roomful of younger students about topics that are important to them. I think I spent the entire hour smiling.
