MY PARENTS ARE OLD & COOL!!!!!

Today my parents celebrated 27 years of marriage. (All of my college pals just let out a collective *ugh*. We will get there friends, lol) Growing up watching my parents together has been one of the greatest lessons I could ever learn, to be humble and lean on God. In them I see two virtually opposite people that, in every way, balance each other out. My mom is messy. My dad is organized. My dad can get wound up. My mom is the chill pill that brings him down. Their knowledge feeds off one another. What one doesn't know, the other probably does. If not, I’ve never seen two people more capable of resolving an issue and finding a solution. They are both hysterically funny in their own ways. And they are both amazing parents that have taught and given me more than I could ever thank them for. I don't know if my parents marriage has been a remarkable example, or an unreachable bar that I have set for myself. It’s no secret to anyone that I admire my parents. Just about everyday I see something in one or both of them that I feel like I should write down as to never forget. I have learned from them that stuff isn’t always fun or fair or good, but with the right person (and a couple of dogs) it doesn't seem as bad. :)  I am forever thankful to have two parents that love each other endlessly and that wear their DG mom and dad buttons every game day. Happy anniversary Mom & Dad!!! You two are everything.

maxon brought america a blue bracelet from literally across the world in new asia, and he gave her pretty much everything 

i swear, even if both maxon and america are 87 and america wanted eggs from france that were fried in italy on the roof of someone named kiki, maxon would fly there in a heartbeat and bring back eggs in no less than 20 minutes
