My sister is literally in the process of raising one of the fiercest little girls to walk the planet earth, this kid is 3 years old and she already has more compassion in her tiny little fingernails than most people have had in their whole lives.        This kid is being taught that you can set up your own business and as long as you work hard enough you can succeed (my sister has her own cake business) she’s being taught that she can talk to her mum about anything, she's being taught to love herself exactly as she is and that every human being is perfect in their own way, she isn't constantly presented with unrealistic images of women but when she is my sister actively points out that both of them are perfect, not just one, she doesn't ever throw tantrums because if she's upset she knows how to vocalise that in a healthier way than screaming, she's being taught that she is as strong as any boy and she can do anything a boy can do, if she wants to kick a football or play with toy soldiers she can do, if she wants to play with dolls and beads she can do. She's encouraged to be creative every day, she's incredibly intelligent and loves to read, she has a bigger book collection than I do. She knows how to behave in public and she shares her toys without any fuss. She understands that no means no and her saying no is just as valid as taking no as an answer from a grownup.      I swear this kid is literally going to rule the world and I can't wait to stand beside her as the proudest auntie in the universe when she does it.
