Yeah!! I heard back and she sadly said it wasn't for her, but I'm still happy the first agent I queried wanted to read it! I'm excited to keep trying!!!

I also wanted to say that messaging my cousin went really well and basically she's given me the best reaction out of anyone in my family. She was totally accepting, and I didn't expect less from her, but there's always that fear, even if you know it's irrational. Anyway, yay for that! Well, how I felt was beyond "yay," but I don't know of a word that expresses relief, joy, and love all at once. 

Thank you to thisismygameface and greennalgene for what you wrote on my post! It gave me a lot of courage when messaging her. You guys are so great!! <3

Hmm, Demi’s music right now! But books, too. I can never have enough books. It’s crazy how many I have, but I always want more. I think this must be a problem for all English majors, though. :) Thank you the ask!!

1) what animal would you be and why? An owl, so I could see at night and see the world in an entirely different way!

2) what is one of your favorite quotes? "The world is not a wish granting factory" from The Fault in Our Stars 

3) favorite scent?  Vanilla! Apple/cinnamon is great, too :)

4) if you could be in one fictional world what would it be? Harry Potter's, I gotta say :P

5) hogwarts house? I have nooooo idea! I'm still not done with the books, so maybe I'll know by then. If anyone else thinks they know what house I'd be in, please tell me! That'd be super cool. 

6) so you wake up one morning, hung over with a tattoo and no memory, what did drunken you get as a tattoo? Probably something to do with veganism :)

7) drink of choice I don't drink :P so... chocolate almond milk? heh :)

8) your house is on fire, everything living is safe, what do you grab? Realistically, my laptop because it has so much of my writing on it. And my poetry journal and the rag doll my mom made me when I was younger. 

9) what book changed your perspective on life? Scars by Cheryl Rainfield really, really helped me a lot and honestly changed my life. I highly recommend it. 

10) what’s an irrational fear you have? Hmm, maybe of airplanes? Heights? Small spaces? I have many fears, and I have a feeling most of them are irrational. But I'm not so afraid of dogs anymore! Yay :)

11) do you believe in past lives? if so what/who do you think you were? Yes I do! I have no idea who or what I was. Sometimes I think I was someone (including a non-human being) who was cruelly injured/killed, and that's why I think the way I do and why I've had anxiety problems since I was born, basically. But the anxiety could also be explained through biology and the way I think could be explained by the environment I grew up in, so it really depends on what you want to believe, I guess. I like a mixture of both.
