6. The gentle peck

The man felt exhausted, it had been a long trip to drop off supplies and get ration cards. Being a gentleman, Joel decided to take Tess home. Exhausted as he was, it didn’t feel right just parting ways like that. 

Climbing up to her doorstep, Joel looked at her with tired eyes as a large hand gently took hers without a word to stop her from leaving. Joel received a raised brow from the other before he leaned in and gently pressed his lips against hers. It was much different from his personality. None of his kisses were.
