I guess you can say Neil Young was the Original Hipster. Young is on the soundtrack though. And yes, CSN had only played one time before. They were scared shitless as Stills said. And tripping on acid too. Amazing performance still.

Yeah that was seriously an awesome set they played!  Not many other bands can say that they played a kick ass set at woodstock while on acid, having been their second time ever performing.  CSN are so great and Neil is the definitely the original hipster

Neil Young was there, but refused to be filmed because he thought the film would take away from the atmosphere that was Woodstock. He preferred it to be a special thing to be witnessed only for the people there.
