There are a few highlights in Apollo’s year. There’s fresh-snow-deeper-than-I-am-tall day, which comes around two or three times. There’s something-in-the-backyard-is-dead day, more of a rarity but always a highlight. He’s also a big fan of the-neighbours-are-smoking-weed day. But no day in the year comes close to the excitement of new-bag-of-food day. This time around, new-bag-of-food is actually a three day festival, until the old bag of food is gone. That means three solid days of anticipation, and three days of standing guard over this most precious bounty. We will check in with little Apollo in three days time.
