What I don't understand is when teachers give you a method of doing something like solving an equation that you aren't used to doing, they bitch at you for not doing it their way. Like, I'm doing it the way I learn it best and you're trying to change that, for what reason in particular? I thought the whole point of school was to learn but no apparently in algebra we have to box in the variable but if we underline it instead the whole goddamn answer is wrong.
