I often get sleep paralysis. The things I see during an episode have so far remained to be the most terrifying and uncomfortable experiences of my life.
I've detailed a few past experiences in this post.
As for something a little bit more recent, here's one I had about three days ago:
It began with me hearing what sounded like a little boy's voice asking "Can you see me?" I open my eyes and realize whats going on as I am unable to move my body nor speak. The boy is standing at the foot of my bed. He asks again "Can you see me?" I close my eyes trying to force myself awake and doing my best to remind myself it's not real.
"Can you see me?" The voice is deeper. He asks the same question several more times, each time getting deeper in pitch and sounding closer. Finally I feel something touching me, almost pinning my shoulder down to the bed. This startles me and without thinking I opened my eyes.
The boys face has transformed into something completely grotesque. Something not human. His face is inches from mine. He again finally asks in a guttural sounding voice "Can you see me?"
Almost right after hearing him ask the question again, I woke up. To date, I think this is the worst one I've had. It took a pretty hefty toll on how rested I felt the next morning.
