The tree with the markings of one close.
My school is very small, so small that everyone knows everyone and that’s fine. I really like it that way, and then my brother told me about the tree with symbols.
Showed me a picture too! I never seen markings like that so I was very interested in the tree. He told me that it was in the school yard where the teens eat lunch and so I went with a friend to find it.
I did find it but it’s been a year so there was one half of a symbol left. We looked at it for a good minute and then left. Never really thought about it. I did wonder who drew the symbols. That did crossed my mind when I looked at the tree, I would think to myself ‘maybe it was L drew it? Or M? But M’s a freshmen and the symbols are last year.’
The more weeks went by the more I forgotten about the tree. Until I was looking for flash cards. I found the ones that are connected by the little gold colored metal rings and I was looking through them.
Little sketches that my brother had done, some were pretty cool,he drew odd lumps that came out of the ground and had nice big teeth a lot of them were like this. Then I saw it.
The same symbol on the tree and there was more. I can’t tell you how they look but it’s.....strange.....too strange for me to even try to type words to say how they look but I’ll try to, one of them is just o with dashes through it and the other is straight line going down and it curls at the end and then there’s a line going through it and it too curls at the end, it also has little dots around it. I know I seen it before but I can’t remember where....and there was more.. it was the whole alphabet.
I knew that it was someone who drew those symbols but... I didn’t think it would be my brother....and to this day...I don’t know what they mean or where he got the symbols..
I want to know so badly.
