Recent global changes have placed a greater need for virtual production and remote recording for games. Hit-Girl is back, bitches!!!!!!

At long last, we finally got a trailer for Kick-Ass 2!  And it looks just as action-packed and morbidly funny as the last movie.

When we last left Dave/Kick-Ass (Aaron Taylor-Johnson) and Mindy/Hit-Girl (Chloe Grace Moretz), they had defeated their enemies and were trying to resume normal lives.  But now, a bunch of new superheroes have teamed up with them, including Colonel Stars and Stripes (Jim Carrey) and Dave's friend Marty.  And it's just in time too, because their old enemy Red Mist (Christopher Mitz-Plasse), now known as the Motherfucker, is back for revenge.

Random thoughts:

* This might be the best movie Jim Carrey has done in a long time.

* Hit-Girl might be older, but she is still a foul-mouthed badass.  Go Chloe!

* Kick-Ass got hot.  Really hot!  The brief shirtless shot we see of him in the trailer...DAMN!

* So Red Mist has a goatee now.  Hard to believe we used to know him as McLovin.

* A shot of the big superhero and supervillain showdown at the end.  I wonder it will end the same way as the graphic novel.

Everyone else psyched?  Because I sure am!  Too bad we have to wait until August.

Synopsis and official title of "The Muppets" sequel!

Calling all Muppet fans!  Entertainment Weekly's website has an an official synopsis for the next Muppet movie, which will be entitled, The Muppets...Again!

According to the article, the movie has the Muppets on a world tour, where they get mixed up with an evil mastermind named Constantine and his stooge (Ricky Gervais), who are plotting to steal a enormous diamond.  But that's not the worst part.  The worst part is that Constantine looks exactly like...Kermit!

Confirmed cameos include Tina Fey as a Russian prison guard and Ty Burrell as an Interpol agent.  And yes, it does sound a little like The Great Muppet Caper, but who cares?!  I WANT MORE!

All kidding aside, the first trailer for Oz: The Great and Powerful looks, well, wonderful.  I love the nod to the original Wizard of Oz has the Kansas scenes with Oscar, a.k.a. the future wizard (Franco) will be in black and white until he and his hot air balloon are flung into the technicolor world of Oz.

Not surprisingly, the Oz prequel apparently has the him be romantically involved with at least two of the witches, Glinda (Michelle Williams, who looks perfect for the role) and Theodora, the soon to be Witch of the West (Mila Kunis).  In a behind-the-scenes featurette, Kunis insisted her character is "misunderstood" and doesn't become evil until "her heart gets broken."

Think that's a twisted idea for a prequel?  You should see what happens in Wicked!

Speaking of which, I have to admit that I love Wicked so much that the whole plot of this "prequel" will seem surreal.  Actually, I would love for there to be a movie version of Wicked too...

A lot of people thought this reminded them of Tim Burton's Alice in Wonderland, and I have to agree.  But I'm willing to give this a chance.  After all, it comes out close to my birthday.  And I'm curious to see if James Franco really is a wiz if ever a wiz there was -- again, I couldn't resist.

Upcoming movies: "Django Unchained"

Quentin Tarantino's Christmas present to us is another roaring rampage of revenge: a Western set in the Deep South.

In Django Unchained, a slave named Django (Jamie Foxx) is rescued by a bounty hunter Dr. King (Christoph Waltz).  Dr. King offers Django his complete freedom in exchange for his help in tracking down the Brittle Brothers -- two men that, according to the trailer, are members of the Klan.  If they succeed, King also promises Django that they'll free his long-lost wife Broomhilda (Kerry Washington) from the plantation owner, Calvin Candie (Leonardo DiCaprio).

Let me point out that I never really liked Tarantino movies that much.  That is until I saw Kill Bill.  Then along came Inglourious Basterds, and well...one look at this preview, and I knew it had just made my must-see list for the fall.

It's kind of refreshing seeing Christoph Waltz as a "good guy," especially after his brilliantly slimy (and Oscar-winning) performance as Hans Landa in Inglourious Basterds.  As if that weren't twisted enough, Leonardo DiCaprio is playing the bad guy!

Before you even ask,  yes Samuel L. Jackson will be in it -- he's appeared in almost all Tarantino flicks -- as one of Candie's other slaves.  Too bad he couldn't be the lead character, but I suppose Foxx will do fine.

Django Unchained will open on Christmas Day.  Click "like this" if you're going to be there with bells on!  I know I will!
