Happy disability pride!

Thomas is autistic and dyscalculiac, and he's missing (most of) an eye! Due to this ju is half blind and has no depth perception, so he doesn't like anyone standing on his right. Ju lost it when he was 7, he tried to do a sick daredevil trick with a ramp, but ended up face planting on the curb, resulting in his eye socket being crushed and needing repaired. After surgery, ju took the opportunity to befriend the nurses son! This is how he met aled.

Gender bent martians! This isn't a proper born the opposite sex genderbend, as that would probably have a lot of characters stopping or becoming trans, this is more of a 'laser beam that makes you the opposite of what you are' situation

Martha is amram, as she was named after her mother Miriam.

Tammy is genki, as it means Stone, where as Tammy's name means jewel (it doesn't, she got tamiko and tamaki mixed up)

Jenny and Thomas swap birth names, so become Tommy and Jennifer (or Jen, but only if you're alys)

James named himself after his father, so is now Jemma, but chooses the name Jun later, as it means fresh/clean and she sees it as a blank slate

Sarah is hoor, a random name from her alien mother's planet

Aled is alys, I feel that his mother had an 'al' sound in her head, and both names are Welsh.
