headmates keep... reappearing after we thought they went dormant ?

this is irregular for us, usually once a headmate goes dormant they are gone and cannot come back or be brought back. This has been different recently and we're unsure why.

A few months ago we had a huge system collapse that knocked us down from ~20 headmates to 2 (me and Reese). Shortly after, Moth and Dawn came back. which is like. sure yeah, maybe they weren't really dormant and we were mistaken. Not too strange. We moved on without thinking of it too hard, we were just happy they came back.

Now Lupus and Loop are both back, which is also strange. At first we thought that engaging with ISAT/Overkill content after a long break caused us to form new fictives of those same characters, but after talking with them each for awhile we do not believe that is to be the case. And additionally, Loop was dormant for 4-5 months while Lupus was dormant for about 3. Past experiences within our system indicate that shouldn't be possible for us.

And finally, Jonathan has returned. Again, strange. He was dormant for roughly the same period of time as Lupus. And we haven't been engaging with TMA content very much, so that can't be an explanation.

it's not inherently a bad thing ? We're happy old headmates are returning. But it's a very strange phenomenon that we're monitoring, if how our system works is changing we want to be sure that we know and can figure it out.
