Waska Tatay
It’s never too late to appreciate the photographic series “Waska Tatay” by artists Thomas Rousset and Raphaël Verona. While traveling through the Altiplano region of Bolivia, they photographed the region’s spiritual healers, medicine men, and witch doctors. The duo depict a culture steeped in tradition while also showing the modern technologies that are advancing around them. These images show the intricate and breathtaking traditional costumes used by the healers during their rituals.
