imagine you're an ex prisoner of war sent on a space expedition with a previous co-worker and five other crew members. you have the lowest pay and you work in some of the most neglected areas of the ship's underbelly.

your co-worker is stiff and parrots the same phrase consistently, you keep getting slagged off every time you ask for bonus pay, and you really just want to go home and party. all of a sudden one of your crew members get sick and he unfortunately dies as you're trying to stop him from choking/holding him as his chest caves in under the weight of an alien species bursting out of the cavity... which previously inhabited his body after he and two others on the ship went to explore an abandoned planet (which is why you were jolted out of cryo sleep.)

more and more of the crew begin to die at the hands of this alien species. you also find out that one of you happens to be a robot after you behead him for nearly pseudo-raping/killing your crewmate. the surviving three of previously seven members (including you) all unanimously decide to abandon ship/explode the main ship with the alien inside.

you & another crewmate go to get fuel. you're cornered by the alien. your crewmate won't move, and so you end up dying via head bite - your brains exploding on impact.

dennis parker doesn't need to imagine.
