I love #thirstthorsday!! Let’s talk about the things he would love the most about his lady

omg i could just start and say everything but where is the fun in that??

so let’s break it into categories!

physical: 

thor is tall and big ok this is known. but he’s like REALLY BIG and it’s also known that no matter his lady’s size HE LOVES THE SIZE DIFFERENCE. because she’s smaller than him and it’s adorable. 

i can’t decide if thor is a boob buy or an ass man mainly just because i see him as being for it all? boobs butt hips whatever he’s got big hands and they need to be filled and he doesn’t care what they are filled with...as long as it’s her :))))

so thor has a hand kink don’t fight me on this i have proof. he loves hands. esp because his hands are giant and holding his lady’s hands in his omg he loves. but how many times did we see him touch jane’s hands??? like a LOT so thor likes hands it’s real. 

and i can’t list off things like this w/o mentioning his absolute love and adoration for his girl’s smile. he loves being the reason she smiles, but honestly anything she’s smiling at he finds sweet. 

shy smiles tho that’s his weakness. he eats that uppp. and don’t try and hide the shy smile from him cuz he saw it and he’s gonna do whatever he can to make her smile like that again ok

also a bright bold smile boy is gonna be WEAK. basically she smiles at him, he gone. 

emotional:

ok i could have just grouped this all together but i wanted to bring attention to this because it’s important. 

thor has the weight of the universe on his shoulders and while he’s very happy and cheerful - he still has pain in his heart and this sweet boy needs an anchor. someone soft to hold on to. he needs emotional support and gentle touches. a lot of his interactions are rough and in battle so i get the feeling if she is soft w/ him he’s gonna really love the contrast. 

at the same time, he’s gonna love watching her do her own thing. he’s a proud boyfriend/husband whatever you wanna call him. 

thor is a protector, a provider, and a supporter, but he needs all of those things too!! he needs to be taken care of <3 and if his girl is gentle with his heart then it belongs to her. <3

I could totally see Thor like mindlessly playing with or braiding his woman's hair when he's a bit stressed and talking out his thoughts with her

omg that’s so cute!! just talking and braiding and venting about things or just telling stories! and he’d be good at braiding i just know it! it relaxes him as much as it relaxes her <3

ok but (during Ragnarok) thor having an s/o who helps him get the Asgardians to safety,,, and he tells her that he’ll come for her,,,, while slipping a ring on her hand

YES!!!! i wrote something kinda like this but omg this is so pure! the promise that he’s going to come for her! MY HEART

i knowww i’m sorry!! it’s just so awful. thor didn’t want it, but when he got it, it was immediately stripped from him. and you have to wonder if he thought it was his fault.

The thing that always drew me to the idea of Thor was how openly physically affectionate I thought he'd be. He's def the kinda guy who puts his arm around your shoulders, his hand on your lower back, offers his arm to you as you walk down the street. Hand holding is yes, and little kisses out of nowhere on your brow, your cheek, your forehead, the top of your head. Just little things to remind you he's there, he loves you, he likes being close to you.

YES. ASDFGHJKL this is so cute oh no!! i wish we had more things like this in the movies, but we saw enough to know. he gives off the vibe he’s very physical, you’re so right. thor isn’t shy, and he’s proud of who he’s with. soft touches would make him happy. the protector part of him would be at ease knowing you’re safe, but the romantic side of him likes to touch you because you’re his <3 it’s a comfort to him as much as it is something he enjoys because of the smile it brings to your face <33

about that post about “man cards” and toxic masculinity and all that- that made me immediately think of frank! he’s like literally the epitome of Big Manly Man but he’s always open about his emotions and cries and has strong open relationships with his male friends and anyways i love thor as much as the next guy and 100% agree with you on that front but i feel like frank deserves some credit too!! (also i live for your chris and jon posts bc i too am a chris and jon stan)

YES! im totally with you anon! frank also is very respectful to women and that’s important. thor just came to mind first because i hear more about thor like among my family and mainstream media but i totally agree we need more male characters who can be deeply emotional. and bless the actors who choose to play them as such.

I feel like Thor would just LOVE Halloween! Especially seeing any little kids dressed like him and Loki!

YES! he’d love the concept, candy and sweets while people dress up! and if he saw some kids dressed like himself or loki, he might say something, or make his hands and eyes light up a bit to see the kids look on w/ wonder and excitement
