Thank you, I feel a bit better now. I'm ecstatic about their victory today, but I'm suddenly afraid of the future now--not just for them, but for everyone else.
Random ask for ya! If you got 200 euros to buy jerseys, which would you buy and if you put names on them, which names would you pick?
Oow this is an easy one, I’d buy one of the Dutch NT, of de Vrij of course!!! You guys know me ^^ And the second one would be of the Brasil NT (I have to represent two countries, right? :D): David Luiz because he’s my curly honey hehe
Thank you for asking!

Can he be banned from your life? Because if so: do it! He sounds toxic.
Sadly not completly. I hang out with some people he hangs out with as well. I don't see him often, but when he's around I feel him draining my energy.

What happened? Do I know the people?
No, not someone you know. Just some toxic dick, talking shit about people I like.
My head is filled with HobbitCon so I thought I'd write down a couple of things that stuck with me.
Richard Taylor is one of the most inspirational human beings I've ever had the pleasure to listen to. The things he said gave me hope and thanks to him I'm now re-enforced in my belief that the creative arts are the way to go for me. I got a little misty-eyed at the end of his second panel and I felt strangely proud as the man got standing ovations every single time he left a stage. (Also HOW TALL IS HE holy shit he's taller than Graham McTavish!)
I briefly spoke to John Callen backstage, right before I was meant to go on during the opening ceremony, and he complimented me on my sparkly black dress. I said the thing made me feel a little self-conscious because I never wear dresses, to which he replied 'neither do I - don't worry, you look great'. That was exactly what I needed to hear right before I put myself on a stage in front of hundreds of people :3
THEY SANG MISTY MOUNTAINS I can't believe they did it again, it was possibly even better this time around.
Ken Stott is so. Fucking. Adorable. Seriously, that man is amazing. His little speech at the closing ceremony had me close to tears, what with him telling us all that we turned what he thought was a fantasy into a reality. What an absolute cutie.
Every guest mentioned that HobbitCon is the best convention out there. Every. Single. Guest.
thorindurin and I did a workshop on screenwriting on Monday morning and a whopping 25 people showed up! Seriously, I hadn't expected to see more than 5 people there, and even then I would've been very much surprised and pleased, but holy fuck you guys, thanks so much for coming! If any of you are here on tumblr, please let me know if you liked it :3 It was my first time doing a workshop and I had a lot of fun doing it, even if I was a little nervous.
Because of some inconvenient scheduling I missed every single opportunity to do a photo op with Graham McTavish. I'm a little sad about that, but here's to hoping there'll be a HobbitCon DREI and he'll be back :3
Graham McTavish though. Just. That man is so ridiculously fit. Also beard. I know it's extremely shallow but ughghghghghg he was so hot. Help.
Staying at the Maritim was so fucking convenient, you have no idea. It's quite expensive but I'm glad we decided to go for it. We saved so much on con food and also just being able to quickly go and get changed or freshen up without the hassle of taking the tram, and just crashing into bed after the con parties - it was all so very convenient.
(Also: the Maritim breakfast. Glorious, amazing, tasty, German breakfast. I giggled a little when I saw Stephen Hunter enjoying himself immensely at the breakfast buffet - he made himself these gorgeously presented little things like bread with salmon and what have you, it was the cutest.)
