OKAY i DIDNT but then senior year chior went to worlds of fun and i got split from my group and met up with 2 other girsl who were ditched also and they made me ride my first roller coaster (18, and never ridden one before) and i was like crying getting on but WHEN I DID DFJGD IT WAS SOO FUUN

Regarding Dashcon

Okay, this is my weighing in on the Dashcon hullaballoo, as someone who was there and who contributed my con food and merch budget. As stated in my previous post, it was definitely not a scam. That's fact; the rest is largely opinion. Knowing how "effectively" this site spreads misinformation and drama, and how long it took for even people in the room to get solid information thanks to the confusion surrounding it, it's telling how many posts are from people hearing about it secondhand through tumblr. So here's my perspective.

Me: (talking about our fem!merthur cosplays we just bought sewing patterns for) oh god I can't believe we're spending this much money. And this is just the fabric for my shirt and corset, we've still got to do my skirt and your dress and your armor--and wigs! I need a wig, wigs cost money!

Mel: Well, if we're doing it for cosplacon, you could see if Stormy has a wig you could borrow.
