Allie: WE HAVE A BABY ON THE WAY!!!
Receptionist: Just wanted to update you, Mrs. Toids! She’s doing great!
Allie: Perfect, thank you!
Nurse: Keep pushing Thorn!!
Allie spent most of her time setting up the baby’s room as Thorn inched closer to her due date. Thorn figured it was about time she get a job, so she picked up a position as an activist for Simoleons for Everyone.
Allie also started cooking—something she didn’t do often back in Willow Creek following the incident.
Thorn: Hey, mom—
Allie: Hey Thorn! Crazy that it’s still raining right? I know we didn’t want to stay too late, but I don’t know if going out in this weather is a good idea.
Thorn: hduhgusihuishu moooommmmm.
Mac: Wh—What do you mean there won’t be an after? We’re getting married... aren’t we?
Thorn closed her eyes and took a few deep breathes. She knew she was hurting Mac, which is the opposite of what she ever wanted to do, but she couldn’t let herself go through with the wedding.
Thorn: Mac, I can’t marry you. I’m so, SO, sorry.
Thorn: That sounds perfect, mom. Thank you.
So this is going to be the *official* start of Gen. 2 (even though we have been focusing on Thorn for a while). Allie still has some things she needs to take care of, so she isn’t going anywhere! Really the only difference is a change in the banner color lol
Have only one child
Master the politician career and complete Serial Romantic aspiration
Master charisma skill
Leave someone at the alter (an interaction available during a wedding)
Get married for the first time as an elder
Thorn (thinking): I have to end it. But I don’t want to lose him as a friend. Shit. I don’t know how to do this.
Mac: Why!? Yesterday you seemed so—
Thorn: Yesterday, you seemed so happy and excited and ready for this. I wanted to talk so we could avoid this moment, but you and my moms were moving so fast and—
Mac: Don’t blame me and your moms because you didn’t speak up, Thorn! If you needed to say something so bad, you should have!
Thorn: I know, I know, Mac. I know this is my fault, but I just, I can’t do this. I think I’ve known for a really, really long time that we want different things out of life. I’ve just been pushing that aside because I love you, but—
Mac: If you love me you would have talked to me about this before I was standing here with a ring in my pocket.
