Allie (whispering): Yeah, she’s asleep right now... We got back around 9 this morning. The labor wasn’t too long... Yeah, Thorn is doing great, she’s taking a nap now, too... Thorn: NOW!!!!
Thorn: Hey, mom—
Allie: Hey Thorn! Crazy that it’s still raining right? I know we didn’t want to stay too late, but I don’t know if going out in this weather is a good idea.
Thorn: hduhgusihuishu moooommmmm.
Thorn: Well April, you might just have to be my new best friend. These fries are fantastic! And yeah, I live at the complex just across from here.
April: Hahaha, don’t tell anyone but they’re frozen fries. Just threw ‘em in the microwave a few minutes ago, but if you like ‘em, I have plenty more behind the counter.
Thorn: I should probably go find my mom, it’s getting late and this baby is kicking up a storm. Mind if I take a handful to go though?
April: Haha go for it! Hope to see ya around?
???: Who said anything about a drink? Fries cure everything.
Thorn: Oh my gosh thank you so much I’m starving!!! What’s your name by the way?

After a bit of looking around, Thorn saw a quiet place by the bar and went and took a seat.
Thorn: Ugggh, god these pains are intense.Â

Thorn: Oh, no, thank you, but I really can’t drink.
At the end of the work day, Allie was pulled into her manager’s office where she was immediately given a promotion! The new uniform was sleek and incredibly high tech, but it was also a gazillion layers that were impossible to get out of quickly.Â
Monday, 7:58 p.m.
Even though it was pouring rain, Thorn decided they should go to the art gallery across from the apartment to celebrate the promotion.
Allie: Ya know, I kinda like this one. I might buy it for the apartment.
Thorn: Mom, we literally have like no money. The apartment was so expensive.
Allie: ...Eh, well, maybe we can buy it in a few months, yeah?
At the end of the work day, Allie was pulled into her manager’s office where she was immediately given a promotion! The new uniform was sleek and incredibly high tech, but it was also a gazillion layers that were impossible to get out of quickly.Â
Even though the lab was smaller, the technology inside was still very advanced, which made Allie excited to get working. She kept to herself most of the day, working on new projects and advancements on older technology.Â
Monday, 10:00 a.m.
It was Allie’s first day at work in San Myshuno. The lab here was much smaller compared to the main hub in Oasis Springs.
Allie spent most of her time setting up the baby’s room as Thorn inched closer to her due date. Thorn figured it was about time she get a job, so she picked up a position as an activist for Simoleons for Everyone.
Allie also started cooking—something she didn’t do often back in Willow Creek following the incident.
