31-Day Writing Challenge, Editing, and Walking Back to the Wasteland
It’s another week and I am back to work again. What am I doing this week? First, there is the 31-Day Writing Challenge. I’m on Day 6. Well, I’m also working on Day 5 because it’s part of the new chapter of Thorned Blossoms that I am working on. I have the rest of the week mapped out. I just have to dive in and get to work. This week will be Housewife’s Secret, Red Bull, Stone of Light, Ginger…
The Edits are In!
As of today, I have finished editing chapters 2-13. Fifteen more to go. This is all the first quarter, and I am enjoying getting to work. I think I will be done by tomorrow or on Tuesday.
I still need to figure out what I will do for line editing, copyediting, and proofreading. For all of that, I am going to need money. I am working my hardest to do that. In order to do that, I will need to build connections. I started with Substack. I'm also submitting my stories for publication. On top of that, I have been applying for writing/editing jobs. I need to get my work out more.
I will need your help to grow. I just need you to do one thing for me.

Good News at Last!
So, my laptop couldn't be saved. The shop couldn't stop it from crashing. They narrowed it down to either the motherboard or the CPU. It wouldn't be worth the money to replace them. So, I had that one recycled and ordered a new one. It should be here in the middle of night week. I can't wait!
Also, I (hopefully) get the first quarter of my edits for Thorned Garden tomorrow. I can't wait to get started!
What else is there? Just the usual with Ophelia Lucifer. Plus, there's going to be another Wasteland side story coming on Friday.
I can't wait for more good to roll in!
Just a Little Bit Longer
I will check in with my editor in about two more weeks. I can't wait to dive back in with the edits. Meanwhile, the story for Thorned Blossoms is heating up. I have a string of ideas that I get to execute. I can't wait to get to the key plot points that I'm dying to get to. This is exciting.
Meanwhile, I have next week's 30-Day Writing Challenge lined up. I will be working on Thorned Blossoms, Red Bull, Winter Blossoms, Ginger Cat, and Babylon. I don't have Saturday figured out yet. But I will soon, I always do.
I am still trying to fix my site. (Please kill me now.) Other than that, I will keep on trucking.
Moving Along and it Still Itching to Go Further
I am twelve days into my writing challenge and I still want to do more. I guess it's because I am trying to fix my website and waiting to get back to editing Thorned Garden. The former is so annoying. Does anybody at Lycos know what the hell they are doing? It's just a huge mess with Angelfire and Tripod sites. I think they just gave and quit. It's not a good look, guys. Come on now, get it together! Would be nice to get into our accounts and see if we could download those pages. Can we at least do that?
In the mean time, I have Pretty Lady, Stone of Light, another part for Thorned Blossoms, Brave Soldier, and maybe a little surprise lined up for week three of the 30-Day Writing Challenge. Plus, I'm still going to be fixing my site. Bleh. Wish me luck on that front. I will keep on trucking.
Good News and Bad News
Good News: Tripod is back up and I can log in. Also, I can now see every part of my site that's on the Tripod domain.
Bad News: Can't edit anything on Tripod because I keep getting a 500 Error. Angelfire is still down.
Grrr! So annoying!
It's going to be a pain in the ass to play catch-up with updating my site. I know that I can get it done, but it will be annoying. Meanwhile, I will keep writing. What else can I do?

The Year is Almost Over
We have three days until we can give 2025 das boot. I have three more stories to do to finish out Kinky December. Then it will be Kinky Janurary. Speaking of which, I am on the hunt for an editor for Thorned Garden. I'm not finished with it yet, but I figured that I should get my ducks in a room for the next step.
Here is the situation:
So, I started looking into finding an editor for "Thorned Garden". Peferencely, one that is BDSM/kink friendly. The first one I found is $0.17 per word. As of last night, it would cost me $35,746.07 for 210,271 words. (I not even finished with the first draft. It would probably end up costing more money.) Even my mom says she wouldn't do it. Ideally, I would like to find a BDSM/kink friendly black female editor. So I shall keep looking. I got suggested to build a little network and make connections.
