Healer Ariadne ran her hand through her hair with a sigh. She was not looking forward to this. She’d been to so many “important ceremonies” in the past few weeks that she was getting sick of them. The handmaiden pulled her corset tighter and she gasped. “I’m sorry, highness.” The handmaiden said gently. She tied it and then helped the Healer into her dress. It was a pale lavender, floor-length ball gown with an intricate silver design on the front. Another handmaiden curled her hair and placed her crown on her head. “Alright, alright. That’s enough.” Healer said, waving the handmaidens away. She walked out of the room quickly and down the hall. Half-way to her destination, she stopped mid-stride, having heard the tell- tale wheezing, groaning sound of a materializing TARDIS. “D-dad?” She asked hopefully. But, of course, she could have been imagining it. She often did when she was especially missing her father. She looked around, searching for whoever it was that could be there.
