I glanced over at Xavier when he made his spider drawing come to life, Wednesday was just staring at it unempressed.

I got up to quickly grab her book she was about to slam down and kill the spider with.

I let go of the book after I gently urged the spider onto my other hand.

Xavier smiled at me.

"It's not real Yn."

"It's real to me!"

I said, pouting and hugging the spider that I now named Claire.

"Aaaand, done."

I got up from my stool to walk over and look at Xavier's painting at me.

"Damn, gorgeous like always."

I got a better look at all his sketches from here, most of them being me.

"Why so obsessed with me?"

I joked, flipping my hair and grinning at Xavier.

He shrugged, smiling at me.

"Wednesday ditched me for prom..."

"For real? I'll go with you."

I quickly said, moving to stand next to him and hold his hand.

"Let's go!"

"Why do you want to go with me?"

I gave him a 'why not' look.

"Do you want me to spell it out for you?"

"Spell what?"

"I-L-I-K-E-Y-O-U."

Xavier grinned and gave me a big hug.

"Took you long enough."

"Took me long enough? Listen here you dirty rascal-"

"Hey Xavier."

"What."

I glanced over at my best friend who was drawing in his notebook at his desk.

Currently, we are both in his dorm room. (yes I snuck in)

I visit a lot since I don't like my roomie, she's a weird vampire who has a long ass name I can't pronounce.

Anywho...

"I have to pick an extracurricular activity for this year. What should I do?"

I asked, laying down on his bed so I could stare at the celing.

"I dunno, what are you good at?"

I thought for a second, barely anything coming to mind.

"Working hard and writing."

Xavier sighed and spun around in his desk to walk towards the bed.

"How about, what do you like?"

I quickly got up and grabbed his hand, bringing him down with me.

Once he was laying down I flipped him over so I was on top.

I leaned in, a smile on my face.

"I like you."

I could feel Xavier's chest rising up and down as he breathed.

His face was slightly red as he was wondering what to say next.

"I like you too."

I blinked multiple times, trying to get my brain to load.

I slowly leaned in, having my eyes half open and lips parted.

He met me halfway, finally kissing me.

He brought his large hand behind my neck to bring me closer as I smiled against the kiss.

We took a breather and pulled away from eachother slightly.

"You should join archery with me."

"I love archery."

"Good."

"You seem to be precise with everything you do."

I glanced up from my book to see Wednesday staring at me.

I raised my eyebrows and thought for a momnet.

"I guess so..."

I mumbled then went straight back to my book.

"It seems like you don't like talking much. I think you're very similar to me."

"Unfortunately."

I said under my breath, mentally rolling my eyes.

She stared at me for a bit before parting.

My best friend, Xavier sat next to me.

"What did she want?"

"I dunno. Why's everyone talking to me when I'm trying to read?"

I looked over at Xavier only to see him not paying attention to me and watching Wednesday instead.

I felt a strong feeling of jelousy.

"You like her, don't you..."
