Another month passed by and although Sanaa was still very much wary of Thomas, he thought that they were starting to be friendlier with each other. Since they were on friendly terms, he’d decided to give her a little more freedom and had instructed his people to stop following her. He wanted to believe that she wouldn’t do anything shady behind his back and for a while there, he thought maybe she wouldn’t until he saw a message from Arnav on her phone. It was early morning, Sanaa was showering and had left her cellphone on the charger in the bedroom. Thomas hadn’t meant to snoop, but what the hell was he supposed to do when he looked down and saw that message? Anger and resentment bubbled to the surface. He knew that he didn’t have the right to be, but didn’t she promised that she wouldn’t do anything behind his back? And here he thought that he was finally getting somewhere with her. Apparently, he was wrong. Trying to act cool didn’t work, he was hot headed to begin with and so when she walked out of the shower, he was waiting with her phone in his hand. “Arnav sent you a text.” He said to her as he dangled her phone with his right hand. “I didn’t know you two are still talking? Didn’t we agree that you would stop?”
