I've been gifted some stunning abalone (paua) shell fragments /slices from a family friend.

They are stunning and all completely unique. I'll be having a play with these and working on some one off pieces to try to do each one of these justice.

After the rain.

The scents in my garden are brilliant this morning. I can smell the rain, the damp earth, the herbs, the tomoato plants, the flowers...

I lift my head and close my eyes

I stand on earth before it dries

I breath out, then deeply enhale

I’m transported to a fairy tale
