I think it’s really funny that Edward gets flack for being both “too old” and “too young” for Bella. Like, on the one hand, yes he’s chronologically over 100 when he meets Bella. But the book goes to pains to make it clear that he’s physically and mentally 17. But then Bella isn’t turned until she’s 19, and so some people wanna say “ew that’s creepy it’s an adult with a minor”. And I’m like... he can’t be both too old and too young at the same time.
