I’m doing better than I was, thanks. It was definitely shocking and threw me off for a few hours but then I met with a professor and talked about Brahms for an hour and a half so that helped. I hate that someone so dumb and someone I’ll probably never see again can make me feel unsafe in this neighbourhood, and elsewhere.

Can you explain the Yak thing?
Ha ha, of course! Yik Yak is an app for smart phones that allows users to anonymously post (and respond to) short messages. What's interesting is that it only shows posts from your area based on your location.I thought it was funny that the Reich post was deleted though... because why? It's not anything too important (the app is mostly just people saying disgusting and most likely sexist things), but it's interesting that an obvious jab from the musical world was deleted.

Thank you! I've dreamt about being at RCS for a good couple years now! I have a reaaaally large number of compositions, all of which I'm quite proud of so I just hope they give me a chance. I'm not the best musician, self taught in piano but around grade 5 standard. Currently learning the 2nd mov. to Mozart's 23rd Piano Concerto. I get worried that they won't even give me a chance because I'm not grade 8 but school is to learn is it not? You aren't meant to be the best! Or atleast I hope..
i agree! i know some standards are put in place just to narrow down how many people get in but i don't see why they wouldn't take someone who shows great potential!
