Why on earth isn't utorrent working on my g4?
Whatever, I didn't need that file anyway. But really, I'm just pretty happy at the moment. I do miss my family, but I have the distillers blaring in my ear, from my new dock that Casey and Bridget got me.
It's nice when people get you things, don't let anyone fool you. We all say
"Oh no! Never get me anything! I couldn't imagine the thought of it!"
But it's a lie. It's a lie even if you don't think it is. Subconsciously, we all freaking love getting stuff.
It's got to be some holdover from our days as cave people. We can't turn down a reasonable gift. What is reasonable you ask?
Well, that a matter of perspective. To me, it's a dock. To you, it could be a boat.
The bottom line is, thank you Casey and Bridget! You made my day with the very thoughtful gift.
I like thoughtfulness. Like the coffee mug Mom got me, or the cds that my Dad purchased. They knew I needed something, and that is what I got. But the beauty of it is, I never told them I needed them.
So in truth, it's also about the thoughtfulness of the gift. My family knew enough about me to get me things they knew I needed or wanted. And they did that by knowing me. That's what it's all about.
Being around people who know you, love you, and want to make you happy!
