Yeeeeess, that ROCKstar pun is so funny. My original idea was that Rocky left Erid in what would be the equivalent of the 70'-80' of earth (keeping the aesthetic because I like it) and he just never grew out of the look.

So when Rocky and Grace touch down on Erid Rocky now looks so outdated compared to the other Eridians (and Adrian) but he just doesn't give a shit anymore because he spent 50 years in space.

I just like to think more about how Rocky lives trough his return to Erid. I love Grace but I want to see more exploration on how Rocky would feel coming back to a planet that he left 50 years ago.

Additionally, I like to think that his isolation eroded his social capabilities, and with having spent 4 years with Grace, adopting human mannerisms and all that, Rocky feels like an outsider in his own planet. Not fully a human, not fully an Eridian anymore.

ooo what variation does your intersex rocky have?

Okay, being completely honest, and im sorry to dissapoint, im not that knowledgeable on the specifics of intersexism. I did do a bit of research but at the end I just wanted to design Rocky to translate Eridian sexlessism into a human without choosing specifically if they had F or M hormones and genitals, because im uncomfortable with assigning gender to genderless people (in my experience).

I did talk about it with a dear friend who is intersex themselves (5-ARD) and they said I was probably going for Ovotesticular DSD with a fictional twist of having both functioning reproductive systems, which they said was, and I quote, "for pervert reasons" and "fucking based" (thanks Rin). (also I made specifically Rocky have PCOS)

Still, as im not intersex myself, and even with the research I've done I would not want to get something wrong , I'll say its just a way for me to translate Eridian lack of sexual dysmorphism into a human vessel.

Grace is a Pyro main because its "easy" and he finds Pyro cute. like he would buy one of those pocket Pyro charms. He has read all the comics and his favorite characters are the Administrator (she reminds him of Stratt a bit) and Medic.

Rocky is an Engineer main because he's fucking insane and ragebaits like he's trying to get kicked out of the server. When he's not somehow building solo nests of 5+ turrets (he's hacking), he plays Spy just to fuck with the Snipers.

Rocky doesn't read the comics because he can't see so he doesn't care much for it. But he saw how Grace was cracking up midway through Blood in the Water and asked Grace if he would read for him. Grace tries to do all the voices and realises he is actually kinda good at voice acting. Rocky's favorite characters in the comics are Medic and Heavy (Big Russian human fight bear animal and survive, amaze amaze amaze)

i started this comic and i dont have motivation to continue. I could post it by pages and that would guilt me into finishing, but I'd be stressed out trying to post it consistently
