ok so years back my mum and i had an argument abt adopting kids or whatever. and she was saying I should never do it cos ill never love it as much as a birthed kid. but like. this is kinda an insidious attitude isnt it. what does it mean for a man, whos most likely never could carry his kids? on his end hes done pretty much the same amount of work to bring the kid into the world. is there an implication that a father could never love his kids as much as the mother? and idk im sure a decent amount of people would actually agree with that implication. idk. thoughts and shit innit.
