Worthy Worth
My heart breaks every time hers breaks. But this piece is not about me. I mean, in a way it could be. We’ve known each other for a brief amount of time, but it feels like longer. And every summer seems to carry a heart break, for one or the other. Most of my time away from her, I’m confused; lost if you will. Yet, that’s not what's important. I can’t seem to get through to her, as much as I’d love to. She’s got the worth of the universe, however I’m not sure how no one else sees that. Her lovers must be great people. Greater than I. And that’s not the problem. The problem is, they don’t think twice before hurting her. Oh, what I’d give to press her heart against mine. I’d go to hell, and would be willing to stay there if it meant that she’d be happy. I know, that all she wants is to be happy. And I might never be enough for her, but by God I hope some day she finds someone that is frighten by the thought of breaking her heart, more than I am. Because, when I said that her worth was in it and it self of the universe, I meant that her worth is unmeasurable.
