As a child, I sincerely believed that Maria was what Sonic would have been like with limitations, and Shadow was what Tails would have been like if he'd lost Sonic. Recent media has brought me back to this theory. Especially how similar Movie Maria is to Movie Sonic, and how Nine in Prime, who never met Sonic and experienced a lot of grief as a child, has a very similar personality to Shadow.

Have you ever wondered, where those photos are from? I've been seeing them popping up from time to time, usually as part of memes or "cursed image" compilations, so I decided to dig for a source.

These photos are a part of the 1998 photoshoot by Philip Greenspun, one of the "early Internet entrepreneurs", for whom photography has been a big part of his life. This series of photos can be found in the middle of the gallery:

As for what's the purpose of those photos... Those were initially made for Greenspun's article on migrating from Mac to Windows, specifically as illustrations of "only one procedure guaranteed to stop MacOS from crashing".

I was struck by how symbolic and sweet it all was. Lisa, in uniform, proposes to Carla, surrounded by police cars—thus inviting her into her world, and Carla enters it. The wedding at the factory—Lisa enters Carla's world.

Today 3 people asked about my tunnels (4 pairs — 2 per ear) — asking if it hurts. But the worst part was that one woman actually touched them..

It took me almost 5 years I think to read the first half of the cruel prince... and like 2 days to finish that and read the wicked king and the queen of nothing... Idk what kind of curse was I under bit I'm "a little" obsessed with Jude and Cardam now. And I finally understand all those posts and quotes!
