the new collection is called "balance" thprks has formed into a collective of artists and designers focusing on the presence of art within fashion with the first collection "born to fail" we set out knowing mistakes would be made as in any art form, from this we learned "balance" harmony and peace within the chaos that was our first range, The installation is a performance art piece inspired by Marina and former lover Ulay. the past should never be forgotten but remembered to learn from this is why we literally set our last collection in stone we bonded the marble print used in "born to fail" and created seats and sculptures, the two models sitting opposite each other where choreographed to periodically signal each other then perform acts of "balance" in the image here they are leaning shoulder to shoulder using one a others body weight to support one another in perfect balance. We are not here to sell out or release who we are, we are trying to push the boundaries of fashion in New Zealand.
