new year’s prep with @yobyul !
going out with byul girl is always a full day kind of event, going up and down the streets to visit as many shops as they can and modelling each other’s picks, laughter and good vibes lasting even after the sun’s faded off. there’s no one else she’d rather spend a day with than the older girl, dress shopping in starden’s biggest mall and getting prettied up together. and their first goal of the day : finding the perfect dress for new year’s.
“well, it looks good on me, of course, but...” seonmi leans her weight against one foot, considering. the dress is powder blue and pretty, delicate embroidery in a hypnotisingly abstract pattern with a tulle overlay. tea length isn’t exactly tea length on her, but she’s never had a problem finding the right heels. length isn’t the issue with this dress, though — it’s the lack of showmanship! it’s so pretty, but what’s a new year’s dress without some sparkle? the pizzazz? she’s not going to be outdone by the fireworks!
and this dress probably won’t help her with that. “not for new years!” she declares. seonmi still does one last check in the mirror, posing a little, just in case. nope, definitely not it. byul, though... with her enviable height and seonmi’s familiarity with the older girl’s style, it just might work! “you should try it!” seonmi slips her hands into the pockets, showing them off. “it’s got pockets, too!”
