Thrashback is the sixth, full-length studio album from New Jersey thrashers, Whiplash. The album marked a return to the three-piece line-up which recorded the band's first two albums between 1985 and 1987.

THRASHBACK "POSSESSED BY THRASH" OUT ON NOVEMBER 1, 2013, ON EMANES METAL RECORDS

Thrashback is an old school Thrash Metal act, formed in 2012 by 3 ex members of the Evil One band. After 15 years, 2 albums, and more than 250 gigs played in whole Europe, Evil One stopped their activity because of too many line up problems. The 3 survivors: Speed (drums, vocals), Freddy (guitar) and Le Gorg (Bass), decided to continue the adventure with more aggressive music: harder, faster, and louder. With no more Traditional Heavy metal influences, Thrashback plays an old school Thrash Metal, in its purest, direct form. Their first album "Possessed By Thrash", recorded and mixed by Marc Varez (Vulcain) and mastered by Jeff Waters (Annihilator), will hit the streets on November 1st, 2013, and will be available as CD, limited edition LP and tape.
