She gripped the strap of her bag, knuckles pale and feet scuffling forward and back... unable to make up her mind whether she should run or help him. Or, apparently, just stand there. Frozen by indecision until the mountain of a man woke back up.
Lillee hadn't meant to hurt him. But, to be fair, he'd spooked her... startled the already tired and dizzyingly feverish girl, and she'd just reacted to a sudden perceived threat. Luckily realized her mistake quick enough to collect and return his blood to him. He didn't deserve to die just for surprising her.
" I'm sorry... " She didn't give an explanation. Just a murmured apology as she shuffled forward, slowly inching her way past him. Too much to try explaining right now. And she just needed to get home, to cool down and rest before she ended up on the ground next to this unfortunate stranger. " Didn't meant to do that. Sorry... "

" I'm, um... I'm... " Warrior wasn't the right word. But, she couldn't remember the one her uncle always used. " I... can kill people. " That was close enough, right?
