Oscuro was starting to think that he’d have to spend the night sleeping in an alleyway. Somewhere along the way to the apartment building (or what he had assumed was the apartment building), he’d gotten lost and was now closer to the outside of town than when he’d started. Not to mention it was surprisingly hard to find this city’s market place. He could really use some easily tricked food stall owners.
As he rounded a corner on to a busier street, Oscuro almost ran face first into a passer by. He turned back and tipped his hat at the stranger, muttering an apology. Unfortunately as the snake-man turned back around he ran right into the person walking behind the stranger.
“Sssorry!” he said, walking backwards away from the man he’d bumped into. In his panic, however, he tripped on the edge of his cloak and fell over. Today was most definitely not Oscuro’s day.
