"No, I don't know anything about that--you're talking to the wrong person."
“Hey.“
Jeez, he hadn’t been here in a while.

THE first thing he noticed when he woke up were the lumps on his back. They made sleeping on his it, which he normally did, impossible--first, there was discomfort, then, there was panic. He fell off the bed, rolling so that he wasn't lying on the whatever the fuck they were, hitting hardwood with a groan.
It wasn't hard to find them--they were small, downy, and...pointed? What the fuck? Was this some sort of dream, or--?
He rubbed his eyes, pushing himself up into a confused seat, and blinked once, twice, three times before he realized he wasn't imagining what appeared to be fingerless gloves stretching from first knuckles to elbow. They, too, were downy, and almost felt padded.
He stood up, looked in the mirror, and whatever little color was in his face drained when he saw that his eyes were not their normal, warm brown--a brilliant crimson stared at him. His ears looked off, too--touching them revealed the downy feeling, and that they were just a bit pointier than usual. And everything was louder, too. His hair seemed normal at first, but upon tilting his head down, a triangle-shaped patch of white was revealed.
What. The fuck.
AFTER a minute of staring at himself, he moved to fumble around his room for his phone. He felt the urge to call none other than Sean--why? He didn't know, but it just felt like the right thing to do. He had to make sure his family was okay. (What the hell was going on?)
