blueprints to success | hudson & finn
At first, Hudson had intended to bribe and seduce a bartender into letting him buy a couple booze bottles, but when that plan failed, he settled on frantic google searching to find the closest liquor store. He lucked out, found one still open not too far, and by the time he returned (one bottle of vodka, rum, and tequila clinking in his bag, just to make sure he covered his bases) a fair bit of time had passed. Even on a good day, Hudson was a nervous phone checker, but knowing that he'd wasted so much time, it became even more apparent as he tapped his foot in the elevator.
If he were in Finn's shoes, he wouldn't still have been waiting. He didn't plan on getting his hopes up, and certainly wouldn't blame him for going back to his own room. But when he opened the door, he quickly realized he wasn't alone. "Hey," he said, glancing over with a quirked brow and a smirk. "Ready to get so drunk we forget we're sitting by ourselves in a hotel room when there's literally a theme park outside?"
