It was truly the perfect day. With the weather, the bustling beach and a successful set under her belt, Lia couldn't have asked for a better day. It was a far cry from the nervous performance she'd had at the masquerade ball earlier in the year and as she had come off stage and got changed to enjoy the rest of the festival, her happiness was truly radiating off of her.
Smiling for a photo with a fan that had just approached her, Lia thanked them before turning back to Emil, a bright smile on her face. "This round is on me, by the way." As they waited for their drinks to be brought over, Lia turned on her stool to face him. "Tell me I'm going to get you for a dance later, it hasn't felt right having all this music and not being twirled by my favourite dancer of all time."
